RICHARD BLAKECREW ASTROBIOLOGIST
Richard is an astrobiologist in training from Sydney, Australia. He is currently undertaking a masters with the University of New South Wales, researching the impact of modern organic contaminants on ancient biosignatures in rock samples. Work that could be analogous to searching for evidence of life on Mars. He has previously attained a BSc from Macquarie University, majoring in Biology, Palaeobiology and Geology, and graduated from the International Space University’s Space Studies Program in Montreal, Canada, 2014.
He also works as an floral ecologist, specializing in restoration of native bushland, and has a keen interest in freshwater ecology of Australia.
